We treat audio as an equal partner to video, and we have a dynamic selection of audio gear to insure quality sound throughout the production process. Field audio is handled by a 4 channel Sound Devices 442 field mixer and a complimentary Sound Devices 302 mixer.This is complemented by seven Lectrosonic wireless mic systems to satisfy every production situation. Most of these wireless systems are UHF diversity based, which means we can dial into a wide range of frequencies to insure a clean audio signal. Our mic selection is diverse and is fitted to match the needs of each situation. Our boom mics consist of a Sennheiser MKH60 or Sennheiser MKH416 . We primarily use Sanken lav mics, but can also choose from an assortment of Sonotrim and Tram lavs as well. Or we can use a Schoeps capsule mic to produce great sounding interviews. A Coles lip mic is available for recording voice tracks in the field.

In addition, we have a variety of wireless IFB equipment, dial up boxes, portable 2-ways, and other assorted toys and devices to handle every location need.

We’re always looking at how to provide extra production value, value that can be achieved in a short amount of time. Putting the camera in motion is an excellent way to create a more compelling shot sequence. The Libec protable jib arm is an excellent production tool that sets up in a very short amount of time. The jib can reach from floor level to almost ten feet above ground, and it provides a great platform for creating more interesting and compelling shots, both for on-camera talent sequences as well as for punching up general scenics. Hollywood Microdolly’s portable dolly system is another great device that sets up quickly, and with it’s 14 foot section of straight track, or 14 foot section of curved track, allows for quickly producing dynamic visual elements. The custom six foot straight track section is also useful for putting interviews and talking heads into motion, even where space is limited. And it all fits into a small soft case.
